Good Morning West Monroe, It's Friday, December 2, 2016. This is KREB and we are on the air.

I am Kalyn and I am Joe we have your morning announcements.

Student Council is hosting its annual Christmas cheer canned food drive. There will be a competition between homeroom classes. The first place class will win a pizza lunch and second place will win donuts. Please help support a worthy cause.

If any student missed  the deadline for first semester dual enrollment, there is an opportunity to get into a DE class for second semester. The possibilities only include online classes and fine arts survey.  Also, an 18 on the ACT is required. Mrs. Hunt needs to see any of these students by today!!

Students are you interested in going on a tour of several European countries during the summer of 2018?  If so, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday December 8th at 6:00 pm in the WMHS library.  If you can't come to the meeting you can see Mrs Krista Jones in room 5202.

The yearbook has space for a few more senior baby ads.  If you wanted to purchase one, but missed the deadline, now's your chance!  The ads will be cash only and first come, first serve.  Stop by room 6204 to pick up your order form.

Congratulations to the Lady Rebel Soccer team for their 3-0 victory over Parkway HS last night in the first game of the West Monroe Invitational Tournament. Goals were scored by Caroline Girod, Lexi Warner, and Faith Stansbury. Mary Grace Dupuy also chipped in with an assist. Good luck to the girls as they are back in action today at 4:30 at West Ouachita HS vs Sulphur and again tomorrow at Rebel Stadium at 1:30 vs Mandeville HS.

Last night the West Monroe boys soccer team played in the Bossier High School tournament at Tinsley Park in Bossier City.  The varsity lost the first game to Evangel by a score of 3-0 but was able to win the second game against Parkway 4-3 behind 4 goals scored by Garrett Knox.  The west monroe boys junior varsity lost to the Parkway jv by a score of 4-1.  The boys will return to the Bossier tournament on Saturday.

That’s all we have for today, have a great day Rebels!
