Attention Rebels!

The Student Council and Spirit Groups are bringing back the PowderPuff football game to West Monroe on Monday, November 13th at 5:30pm, this will be a fun game so come out and support.

 

Seniors, don't forget College Goal Sunday this coming Sunday at the Monroe campus of Delta Community College from 2 to 4 p.m. Be sure to assist a parent in creating their FSA ID number this week so the two of you can complete, sign and submit your FAFSA at the event. Once you submit your FAFSA, you can check off several things on your senior to-do list,such as financial aid application completed, TOPS application submitted, and diploma requirement fulfilled!

 

Mississippi State University is offering the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program (METP) Scholarship designed to prepare teacher candidates for the education profession. Qualified high school applicants must have a 28 or above on their ACT and a 3.5 GPA. The award covers full tuition, books, roomand board, and incidental expenses for four years of attendance along with a one-time technology stipend. On November 20th Mississippi State will be hosting the annual METP Scholars Day on Campus for high school seniors who are interested. Congratulations to the Lady Rebel Soccer team for their 8 to 1 victory over West Ouachita last night. Savannah Hennon led the team with 3 goals. Also scoring one goal a piece were Conner Bacon, Kimmie Ballance, Mary Grace Dupuy, McKenzie Foster, and Caroline Girod.

 

The Lady Rebels will have their second scrimmage this Monday night at Rebel Stadium with the varsity kicking off at 5:30 and the JV at 7:00. Admission is always free for students, so come on out and support the girls!
