If you are interested in potentially serving as a manager for the Lady Rebel Basketball team, please come see Coach Kirkland or Coach Smith during your lunch shift in the old gym. Thank you!


JCL is sponsoring a canned food drive this week to benefit the NELA Food Bank as a part of a state-wide drive on behalf of our parent organization, the Louisiana Junior Classical League. Please bring non-perishable items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, or canned meat or items like bagged rice, bagged beans, or boxed meals.The current biggest needs are proteins. Please do not bring any glass containers. We will collect in homeroom, and the winning homeroom will get doughnuts one day the following week.


Seniors, remember that next Monday is the first day of October and that means its our kick-off for College Application Month. Wear a college T-shirt with pride and show our underclassmen a college going culture at our school.


The PSAT will be given at West Monroe High School Wednesday, October 24th during the morning hours. All students in 10th or 11th grade honors classes are strongly encouraged to take this test. Registration ends on Friday, October 5. The fee is $20.00 and students should register with either Mrs. Rutledge, Mrs. Counts, Mrs. Gulde or Mrs. Harris. If you have any questions, please see your English teacher for additional help.


Johnny's Pizza Pig Out will be held on Tuesday, October2nd from 5-8 p. at both Warren and Wallace Dean locations. Please come out and support the library and technology department. Let's pack out Johnny's Pizza!


Do you want to be a part of the Homecoming Program? Well...we will be having our dance auditions on Monday, October 1st at 5:00 pm at Edgewood. We always have a great group of dancers and we're counting on you to try out. See you there.


Club picture day will be Wednesday, October 3rd in the auditorium. Check with your sponsor for your group's time. Please arrive five minutes early for your photo.October is the last month to turn in your senior baby ads for the yearbook! Pick up a form for more information outside room 6204.


Student Council- Do not forget the monthly meeting is Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the library. You must see Mrs. Jones before the meeting if you can not attend.


Congratulations goes out to Junior, Digital Graphics student Tristen Robertson.He created the winning sticker design for the 2018 College Application Month. Seniors will sport these stickers once their college application process is complete.Many thanks to all of Mrs. Traweek's Digital Graphics classes. The designs were fabulous and the decision was difficult. 


Tadpoles, club shirts are in! Stop by room 3204 to pick yours up before club picture day on Wednesday, October 3rd.


Attention Art Club members, if you paid for your tee shirt and you have not picked it up you will need to come see Mrs. Ganley on Monday or Tuesday. Come to the Mrs. Ganley's room.
