Ice Cream social will be held on Wednesday for students who did not receive a referral within the first six weeks grading period. Come to the boardwalk during your lunch period! Remember to respect yourself, respect others, and take responsibility for actions.

Boys Basketball Tryouts will Wednesday from 3:30  4:30 in the New Gym After School. You must bring your report card to try out. A Separate tryout for football players will be held after their season is over.

The paper voter registration campaign at school is over. However, if you are a US citizen or 18 years old, please visit You can register to vote, change your address & party, get a sample ballot, find out where to vote and get the election dates and early voting dates at this website. If you wish to vote in the upcoming presidential election, you must be registered to vote by October 11.

See you at the pole is this Wednesday, September 28, at 7:00 am in the new gym. Come join FCS and students across the nation as "we cry out" for our generation, our school, and our country. Plus, chicken biscuits will be given out on a first come first serve basis!

Also, FCS t-shirt order forms are available in Mrs. Counts' room, 4104. Bring your form and $12 to Mrs. Counts by Wednesday, Oct.5.

The homecoming dance is scheduled for Saturday, Oct 15th. Here are some important details:

1._Tickets are $15 each

2._Tickets go on sale October 3 during both lunch shifts at Mrs. Knox's room 3109 in the science hall.

3._You must have school ID or drivers license to purchase your ticket.

4._You may purchase a ticket for you and 1 other student.

5._If your date goes to WM, just bring their ID with you to purchase the ticket

6._If your date does not go to WM, you must have a copy of that persons school ID or drivers license to purchase their ticket. We will keep that copy and we will not make the copy for you. So take care of that before you get here.

7._Your date can not be a Jr. High Student. This dance is for high school students.

8._If your date does not have any ID, they will not be allowed to attend. They can go to the drivers license office and have a state ID made if necessary. Please do not ask for exceptions to this. We barely have enough space in our gym for our students and will not make exceptions to this rule. It is for your safety that we be able to identify any outside students.
