National Honor Society induction for new members is Sunday, February 25. Current National Honor Society members need to sign up to work or bring supplies for the reception. Current members are to go by Mrs. Lovelady's room (3202) to sign up starting Monday February 12to Friday the 16. This is a first come, first pick-be sure to sign up early.


Attention all District Literary Rally Participants: Don't forget about our meeting Tuesday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. D. Smith's room (4106). Please bring your signed permission slip. If you can't make the meeting, please stop by to drop off your permission slip and receive some important information.


CONGRATULATIONS to the Air Force Junior ROTC Stellar Explorer team!

Cadets Shea Burns, Connor Broussard, Colton Byrd, Cheyanne Hobbs, Cayla Deer, and Chloe Deer prevailed in the quarter final round of the National High School Space Competition finishing in the top 30 of 180 high school teams registered world-wide and now advance to the Semi Final round of competition. If they do well in the upcoming round of competition they will advance to the world finals in Colorado.


Are you interested in dancing in the Spring Musical “Willy Wonka”? We will have auditions after school on Monday Feb 12th at 3:30 in the West Monroe High School Choir room.

Spanish Club is going to see the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet in Alexandria on Wednesday, February 28th. Only the first 30 students to pay will be able to go. Pick up permission slips & turn in your $25 cash only in an envelope to Mrs. Creech in room #2205 by tomorrow


Just a reminder for those seniors who have enrolled at Mississippi State University for the Fall of registration for orientation begins on March 1! Drop by Guidance to get instructions on signing up for orientation today!


Mrs. Ganley's classes are in need of Mardi Gras beads in the following colors: silver, blue, black and red. If you have beads in these colors that you don't want, we would happily take them off your hands. We will take other colors that you don't want also.


Congratulations to the Lady Rebel Soccer team for their thrilling 2-1 win over 11th ranked Barbe in the second round of the state playoffs. This puts the Lady Rebels into a quarterfinal match vs # 3 St. Scholastica down in Covingtonon Monday. Mary Grace Dupuy started off the scoring by converting a penalty kick and Anna Cranford scored the winning goal off of an assist by Abby Lee. Goalkeeper Therese Miller sealed the win by saving a Barbe penalty kick with only a few minutes left in the game. Coach Barron, Coach Kennedy and all the players want to thank the students for all their great support at the game last night. You really made a difference!We will keep you updated with a kickoff time and results of the quarterfinal match. Good luck girls!!!
