The National Honor Society will have its first meeting on Wednesday, September 14 at 6:00 in the library.
- This meeting is MANDATORY.
- T-shirt orders will be placed during the meeting. The cost is 16.00 cash to be paid in cash at the meeting.
- All members must come by Ms. Rodgers’ room 1205 by Friday, September 9 to pick up an information packet prior to the meeting.
Art club will meet in Mrs. Ganley's room 1109 this TODAY at 3:15 to elect officers. The meeting will end shortly before 4:00 pm. Be sure your ride knows the ending time. Your $10.00 dues are due as soon as possible.

Key Club meet and greet is scheduled for this Friday, September 9th at 7:25 in room 3103. This will be your opportunity to sign up for events, meet your 2016-2017 officers, vote on Tshirt, pay fees, and fellowship with your fellow key club members while having some yummy snacks for breakfast. The Quiz Bowl team is moving practices BACK to Wednesdays after school. Practices will take place in Mrs. Bell's room in the Magnatech building. We will practice after school TODAY, and Mrs. Bell will discuss an upcoming meet in Baton Rouge. Anyone still interested in joining quiz bowl can get an application form from the Quiz Bowl page under Clubs and Organizations at gorebs.org. That form must be completed and signed before you are officially on the team.
Students, the first meeting for our competition robotics team, Magnatech 3468, will be Tuesday, Sept. 13 in the MAGNAtech building. This meeting is for returning members ONLY. Please do everything in your power to attend. If you are not available, there will be a follow up meeting in Mrs. Bell's room (7102) on Wednesday morning that you MUST attend. Again, this is for returning members ONLY.
Anyone interested in joining the Competition robotics team, MAGNAtech 3468, should go to the Robotics page under Clubs and Organizations on Gorebs.org and complete the application. The application is digital. Hand-written or printed applications WILL NOT be accepted. Please complete the application by Tuesday, Sept. 21st. You will be contacted after that date regarding the status of your application.
Yearbook picture/ID retakes will be next Tuesday, September 13th in the Main Office Lobby starting at 7:30 am. Teachers should schedule their picture before school starts. Students will be called by grade over the intercom. This is a free service for anyone that missed preview day and 1st day of school pictures. If you took your picture, you should have received your proofs from Albritton’s by now. If you would like a retake of that picture, you must pay $5 on retake day. If you would like to order pictures from your proof, turn the order form with money into the main office today by 3 pm or at Albritton Photography by 5 pm.
Senior baby ad forms are available outside of room 6204. Pictures and money are due November 1st.
Yearbooks are currently on sale for $65. You may order online through the link on GoRebs.org or with cash to room 6204.
Speaking of yearbooks, we want to see YOU in the yearbook this year. Everyone take out your cell phones. It’s ok teachers; we promise to put away in one minute. Remember, it is a school account, so school rules apply when posting.
And finally - All senior students interested pharmacy need to register to attend PharmFUTURE 2016. The ULM School of Pharmacy will host this event on September 19 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration if free! Check with English IV, Pre-calculus, and Calculus teachers for more information.
