Students don't forget that this week is the last week to buy your candy grams. They will be sold on both lunch shifts on the boardwalk and between classes in Mrs. Jones' room 5202. Also, to make your purchase a little sweeter, student council is raffling 5 large candy bouquets to those that have purchased a candy gram. Your name will be entered in the drawing one time for every candy gram you buy.
Are you interested in 10 days in Europe during the summer of 2018? If so, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday February 23rd at 6:00 in the WMHS library. Please make every effort to attend as the sign up deadline is fast approaching.

Sign up for the WMHS Blood Drive will be Wednesday, February 8 and Thursday, February 9 at both lunch shifts outside of the cafeteria. Remember, you MUST sign up to donate during an elective hour. If you sign up during a core course, you will not be able to donate. The Blood Drive will be in the auditorium on Wednesday, February 15th and Thursday, February 16th.
ProStart is now taking applications for the 2017-2018 school year. You can pick up an application from Mrs. Cheveallier in room 6104. Applications must be turned in no later than 3 pm on February 13, 2017. You must have passed FACS 1 and II and Food and Nutrition to be eligible.
Junior Civitans will have a meeting on Tuesday, February 7 at 3:15 in Mrs. Beach's room (6206).
Seniors, don't forget the upcoming Senior Information Night scheduled for this upcoming Thursday, February 9, in the auditorium. Beginning at 5:30, a LOFSA representative will give updates on the TOPS program. At 6:15, financial aid counselors from the area will be in WMHS computer labs to help you and your parents complete the FAFSA. Seniors, be sure to assist your parent or guardian in obtaining a FSA ID number before the meeting so that your FAFSA can be completed on this night.

Good luck to the lady rebel softball team. Their season begins Thursday with a scrimmage against OCS. The game is at Lady Rebel field and will begin at 4:30. Come out and support our ladies.
West Monroe will be taking on Ouachita tonight in basketball. This is a very important game and they need everybody to show up for the game. The girls will start at 6:00 and the Students get in free from 5:30-6:15. See you tonight in the Rebel Dome…..

If you have not paid your dual enrollment tuition for spring, it is past due. Remember, ULM courses are paid to Mrs. Hunt, and LA Tech courses are paid to Mr. Aswell.
Attention Literary Rally Participants: There will be a brief meeting tomorrow at 7:30 a.m.in Mrs. Smith's room (Room 4106). Bring your signed permission slip. If you can't attend, please stop by her room to drop off your permission slip and pick up a handout of important information.

Coach Osborne will start signing students up for his next drivers ed class today in the PE gym during 1st thru 3rd periods. The class will start February 13th after school and will meet upstairs in the football field-house! The cost is 295.00 and you must have your money when you sign up. (cash or money order)
