October is College Application Month for the state of Louisiana.  The counseling team wants to do everything we can to help you follow your dreams.  We have a month filled with great activities to support you, so listen carefully to the morning announcements each day. We will be sharing interesting facts, reminding you of deadlines and offering opportunities for you get help for completing your college applications.  We will even have some informative guest speakers on site throughout the month.

You may have already noticed that your teachers were in college t-shirts yesterday.  We will have Alma Mater Mondays throughout October.  Talk to your teachers about where they attended college and why they made the choice to attend a particular place of higher learning. Remember that they have been where you are.

Seniors, thanks for wearing your college shirts with pride yesterday.  We look forward to seeing you in a college shirt EVERY Monday in October.  Every Wednesday, Lab #2102 will be open for periods 5, 6 and 7 for you to get help completing college applications.  A counselor will be there for support.  Some college representatives will join us too.  Don't Delay.  Great prizes are at stake here.
