The West Monroe Civitan club needs your help to win $25,000 in funding for the Smiles Park at Kiroli! This will be an all-inclusive park for kids of ALL abilities! Teachers, students, etc. can vote up to 10 times per day every day through today simply by visiting www.smilespark.org.

This past Thursday, the West Monroe Boys soccer team tied the Neville boys 2-2. It was a thrilling game and Anthony Scobar scored both goals for the Rebels.
Then, on Monday night, the West Monroe Boys JV soccer team scored a 3-0 victory over Sterlington. The rebs were led with goals by Alex Sanchez, Harden Gissendanner and Ben Cerda.
The West Monroe boys next game is tonight, Wednesday night, when they play a scrimmage game against Ouachita. Varsity plays at 5:30 with the JV game afterwards. Students get in free!!!!!! So, come on out and support your rebel soccer team!!!!
Junior Civitans who would like to help with Claiborne Elementary's Fall Festival on Saturday, November 12 should sign up outside Mrs. Beach's room (6206).
Student Council is hosting its annual Christmas cheer canned food drive. There will be a competition between homeroom classes. The first place class will win a pizza lunch and second place will win donuts. Please help support a worthy cause.
The cross country team was in action last Saturday competing in the Regional Cross Country meet in Pineville. Kasey Tinnerello took top honors besting the field in 15 minutes and 16 seconds. Christian Girod and Ethan Newberry finished in the top 25 earning all-regional honors. The boys team finished fourth earning entry into the state meet next week.
The girls team was led by Emily Whiteman who finished 21st. She will also be competing in the state meet next week.
