The Art Club meeting is in Mrs. Ganley's room on Thursday, October 25 3:15-4:00. Please come to room 1109 to  sign the list saying that you will attend. We are making a craft and we need an exact number of students attending. Come by room 1109 to sign up.

Congratulations are in order for Kaleb Underwood.  He has been accepted to East Texas Baptist University, Louisiana Tech and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  Kaleb will receive $18,000 over the course of four years if he chooses Louisiana Tech, so he has some hard decisions to make.  Best of luck, Kaleb Underwood.  You deserve the very best life has to offer.


Open House for ULM is approaching quickly.  Be sure to sign up to attend Browse on the Bayou at the ULM website.  It’s November 3rd. This event is for both juniors and seniors. 


Seniors, please note that ULM Housing applications will open January 1st.   Students must be admitted to the university before they can sign up for housing, so don’t delay.  Remember, every senior can get help with college applications and FAFSA completion each Wednesday in October.  Lab #2102 will be open for 5th, 6th and 7th periods.  Counselors will be on hand to help.


Due to the homecoming assembly, FCA will be Meeting in Coach Kidd’s room, room 1211, this Thursday at 7:25. Breakfast will be provided. First come, first serve. So get there early!


On Tuesday November 13th WMHS Rebel Cheerleaders, Raiders, Rebel Line and Student Council will hold their annual powderpuff football game.  This event will consist of a match pitting Seniors and Sophomores against Freshman and Juniors, a halftime performance, court presentation, then for the crowning event the Rebel Line and Raiders will take on the Cheerleaders. 


Ladies, if you think you’ve got skills for the field and want to join a team or gentleman if you want to be a Raider or Cheerleader for the day bring $10 to the tables set up outside on the boardwalk during both lunch shifts.

Spectator tickets will be sold by current Rebel Line, Raiders, Cheerleaders or Student Council members and are $5 each. 


Attention Students!! Come out and support the West Monroe High School Swim Team this Saturday beginning at 10 AM at Alexandria Senior High as they take on other teams in the northeast area, so make sure you come out and show your rebel support for all of our swimmers!!
