Good Morning Rebels, It's Tuesday October 18th. This is KREB and we are on the air.

I am Essence and I am Joe and we have your morning announcements.

Art Club members:  If you have not picked up your tee shirt, please come to Mrs. Ganley's room 1109 and get yours.  Mrs. Ganley has a few extra Art Club tee shirts and they are $10.00 a piece.  Bring $10.00 cash and you can have one as long as they last.  Thank you.   The next regular meeting will be November 3rd

If you paid $5 and took Fun Pics at the homecoming dance, your picture has been emailed to you. The following people should report to Miss Kiper's room 6204, because we could not read your email address, therefore we have not emailed your pictures to you: Joshua Whitlock, Isaiah Adams, Kyle Dobbins, Gabe Braswell, August Bradshaw, Jace Cascio, and Tim Butler. If you have already done this, then this announcement is not for you.

If you ordered school pictures from Albritton Photography, stop by Miss Kiper's room between classes to sign for and pick up your pictures. You cannot pick up pictures for anyone else.

Thursday, October 20this National Buy Your Yearbook Day where schools across the country join together to have the biggest yearbook sales day of the year. Help us celebrate and break our sales record from last year by pre-ordering your yearbook that day. You can order online atwww.gorebs.org or pay $65 cash toMiss Kiper's room 6204.

A-HEC, which stands for Area Health Education Center, has some one day opportunities coming up.  If you are interested in a medical profession, you do not want to miss this chance to learn more about healthcare careers that are available.  These opportunities are open to seniors and juniors who have at least a 2.5 grade point average.  You must pick up an application from Mrs. Krista Nelson room # 3105 or print it out at www.clahec.org.  To apply you must fill out this application, get a letter of recommendation from one teacher, print out your most recent transcript, and type a 250 word essay that explains why you should be selected.  All of this information must be mailed to the address provided on the application not later than November 14th.

Please remember that the $10 Habitat for Humanity club fee is due by Thursday October 20th.

Any Student Council member that has not picked up his or her shirt needs to come by Mrs. Jones' room 5202 and get them before the end of this week. 

Also, all student council members need to make plans to attend the LASC interest event Thursday October 27th at 6pm here at West Monroe in the Old Gym.  If you have any questions about this event, you need to see Mrs. Jones as soon as possible.  

The GE-Ronald Reagan Foundation Scholarship is now available online.  This $10,000 scholarship is renewable so students can receive up to $40,000.  The online application must be complete by January 5, 2017.

Senior English teachers and the Guidance Department have a website information for pickup today.
