West Monroe, LA, April 3, 2023--Today, Coach Jerry Arledge has stepped down as head coach of the West Monroe High School Rebel Football program. Coach Arledge has been with the Rebels since 1992 as Defensive Coordinator and has led the program as head coach since 2013. He earned 9 District Championships and 2 State Runner-Up titles. He amassed a record of 103-22. Coach Arledge has tirelessly coached decades of athletes, shared his coaching wisdom with countless coaches, and constructed relentless defenses that are still discussed today. We are grateful for the time and effort that he has poured into our student athletes and this program. His successful record is only one measure of his success. The true impact that Coach Arledge has had in the lives of our student athletes as well as on the game of football is immeasurable. While Coach Arledge will be stepping away from the football sidelines, he will continue to serve as the school’s athletic director.
