Rebel to Rebel - Supporting One Another

Today’s opportunity to help others comes from the Care Closet. This is a place on campus where students can anonymously pick up some essential items they might need, but as the name implies, it’s a place where we show we care about each other. Right now the closet is need of deodorant, body wash, clothes wash, body wipes, socks, note cards, and backpacks. If you can donate any of these items, you can drop them off in Student services or Room 1222.

Scholarship of the Week

Today, we want to highlight the Champions of Faith scholarship. This scholarship is sponsored by the staff of the Champions of Faith event from Fair Park Baptist Church. As the name implies, it seeks to recognize students who are Champions of Faith in their community, especially through participation in service and religious organizations. This scholarship has an online application and asks for an essay and letters of recommendation. The scholarship is due TODAY so, you need to hurry if you plan to apply.
