CLUB and ORGANIZATION NEWS:  

 

• All Student Council members, the October meeting is tomorrow at 6:30pm in the Library.

 

• The Amateur Radio Club meeting scheduled for tomorrow afternoon is canceled.

 

• FCS/FCA meets this Wednesday at 7:15 in the new gym.

 

• Board Game Club has a meeting Wednesday in the library after school.

 

SCHOOL NEWS: 

 

• WMHS will administer the ACT to ALL JUNIORS and to seniors who have a score of 15-19. Test day is October 22. Mark your calendars.

 

• The 2024-2025 Rebelaire is officially available for purchase. Go to Balfour.com and select our school and you can order now. Today the cost is $75 a yearbook, but on Jan 1, 2025 the price will jump to $100 a yearbook.  Also - SENIORS: Baby ad portal is also found through Balfour.com. Your parents can purchase the baby ad as well as your yearbook all in one shot. The baby ads will only be able to be purchased through Dec.1, 2024 so go ahead and take care of it now. 

 

• Seniors, the Scholarship page under Counselor's Corner is being updated as scholarship opportunities come in! Please don't wait to apply! There are many types of scholarships available so if you have any questions please visit your guidance counselor!

• If you have any pictures from any cool summer adventures that you would like to have considered to be in the yearbook, Send them with a description to the email address wmhsrebelaire@gmail.com Include the names of everyone pictured

 

• Just a reminder to everyone that the first nine weeks officially ends this Thursday. If you have some makeup work, please get that done ASAP so your grades will be posted correctly.

 

• The orchestra will be hosting its Fall Concert tonight in the auditorium at 6:30. 

 

SPORTS NEWS:

 

• The Varsity football team travels to ASH this Friday night. The spirit theme this week is Western Day.

 

• The Volleyball team plays at home tonight against Haughton. The games are held in the New Gym and JV starts at 4:30 and Varsity at 5:30. The team travels to Neville tomorrow for a match as well.

 

• The Tennis teams travel to Neville tomorrow. Good luck to these teams and if you can, come head over the river and support these teams.

 

• The Cross Country team has a meet Wednesday at ULM. Good Luck!!!

 

• The Freshmen and JV football teams host ASH tonight in Rebel Stadium. The freshman should kick off at 5:30 and the Varsity around 7.
