Juniors and Seniors enrolled in JumpStart courses are required to pass the WorkKeys assessment with a Silver Level or Higher. ACT® WorkKeys® assessments are the cornerstone of the ACT workforce solutions. The assessments help you measure the workplace skills that can affect your job performance. WorkKeys assessments are:
With WorkKeys, you’re in control. You can take the assessments on your own time, as many times as you want, and only share scores with employers when you’re ready. Each assessment offers varying levels of difficulty. The levels build on each other, incorporating the skills assessed at the previous levels. For example, at Level 5, individuals need the skills from Levels 3, 4, and 5. The complexity can also increase as the quantity and/or density of the information increases.
To earn the National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®), you must successfully complete the WorkKeys assessments in Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents. WorkKeys offers additional assessments to measure interests, values and behaviors that can lead to greater job satisfaction. Most tests are web-based and take one hour.
Testing window is October 1, 2018 – April 12, 2019. Studnets are tested periodically throughout this window.
There is no cost associated with this exam.
All junior and senior students enrolled in JumpStart classes or those who have not met their ACT targed are automatically registered to take this exam.
