  • Tuesday, March 12, 2024 is ACT Test Day for all juniors and a small group of seniors who need to take the ACT test for graduation requirements. ONLY those students taking the test will come to school Tuesday, March 12th.  No other students will be required to be on campus that day.  This is virtual instruction day for all non-testing students and it will be classified as an excused absence. Students may leave campus once the ACT is completed by all students.   Students who ride the bus will remain on campus and buses will run approximately at 2 pm for these students. Students should arrive on campus no later than 7:15 if they plan to eat breakfast in the cafeteria.  All other students should be on campus by 7:30 and will report directly to their Testing Location at the ringing of the first bell.  They will NOT report to 1st period.  Attendance is taken in their Testing Room. We encourage students to wear layered, comfortable clothing that follows dress code regulations because room temperatures can vary. NO ARTICLE OF CLOTHING WITH A HOOD MAY BE WARN ON CAMPUS FOR ANY REASON.  THIS POLICY IS THAT OF COLLEGE BOARD, the governing organization of the ACT test.  There will be no exception to this rule on test day. Please make sure you are on time. Late arrival for testing will result in your student being scheduled for a make-up test.  Once testing begins, late arrivers will not be admitted to testing locations. Students should bring a fully charged Chromebook, a charger and an ACT approved calculator.  Calculators will NOT be provided for students.  A list of approved calculators may be found on the ACT’s website at  www.act.org. If your student is absent on test day, make-up testing will be scheduled and your student will be informed of that date individually.  Please make sure they bring a doctor’s excuse for their absence.
