  • HAPPY MOLE DAY TO ALL OUR CHEMISTRY NERDS!! This day is Celebrated annually on October 23 from 6:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m., Mole Day celebrates the SI unit and Avogadro's Number (6.02 x 10²³), which is a basic measuring unit in chemistry. Schools throughout the United States and around the world celebrate Mole Day with various activities related to chemistry and/or moles. To put this value in perspective… 6.02 x 10²³ donut holes would cover the Earth and be 5 miles deep! 6.02 x 10²³ blood cells would be more than the total number of blood cells found in every human on Earth! 6.02 x 10²³ watermelon seeds would be found in a melon slightly larger than the moon! Have a fantastic mole day!

  • Just a reminder to everyone that report cards go home Friday and we have officially started the second nine weeks. Make it a good one.
