If you are enrolled in an AP class for the year, you are expected to take the AP or CLEP exam in the subject area of your class administered through College Board / ACT org during the spring semester.
Beginning Tuesday, October 8th you may begin paying your deposits for the AP Tests offered during the Spring Semester. The deposit is $40 and must be paid in cash to your AP teacher. You will pay the remainder of the cost of the test after January 1st, 2020.
We will take deposits from October 8th until October 24th.
Any boys or girls interested in playing golf, listen up! We will be having a player/parent informational meeting for anyone interested in playing golf on Thursday, October 10th at 6pm in the Fieldhouse. Please mark your calendars for this important meeting!
If you ordered a t-shirt - you can pick it up in Mrs. Counts room, 4104. You will get your pass for club pictures tomorrow morning when we meet for FCS at 7:25 in the lobby of the auditorium. You do no have to have an FCS t-shirt to be in the club picture, just wear a t-shirt of the dark gray variety!
Homecoming Dance tickets will go on sale next Friday, October 18th during both lunch shifts.
• You can buy a ticket for you and your date as long as you have both go to West Monroe and you have both of your ID's with you at the time. School ID or driver's licence is acceptable.
• If you are trying to bring a date that is not a Rebel, you must print out a form from GoRebs or stop by Mrs. Knox's room 3109 to pick up the extra paperwork. It is available for pick up now.
• If they go to another high school, they must have the form signed by their school and faxed back to WMHS. So don't wait until the last day or they may not get to come. Handle that as soon as possible.
• If your date is a past graduate of WMHS, you must have a form signed by a faculty member listed as part of the Homecoming committee.
• Here's a list of some things that would not allow you to bring an outsider to the Homecoming Dance:
Middle schoolers are not allowed
Students who have been sent to OPAC are not allowed
People who can not get a clean background check at the courthouse are not allowed
History Club Members: there will be a meeting regarding National History Day Thursday 10-10-2019 at 7:30am in Room 5208. You only need to attend if you are interested in competing. This is not a mandatory club meeting. Those who compete and present at the local competition can earn there service hours for the year if specific guidelines are met. These guidelines will be discussed at the meeting.
