The Lady Rebel Powerlifting Team finished second this weekend at the Calvary Baptist Invitational highlighted by a huge 405 pound squat by freshman lifter Karson Oliver. First through third place finishers are as follows:

There are Only three weeks left to buy a yearbook! The deadline for purchasing West Monroe High School's award winning yearbook, the Rebelaire, is January 24th. To purchase, students may bring $75 cash to Mrs. McDuffie's room 6204 or pay online at www.balfour.com and search our school. Extra yearbooks will NOT be ordered. Three weeks!!
Students interested in obtaining membership into National Honor Society need to pick up a packet from Mrs. Lovelady (3205) or a junior English teacher. Be sure to read through the membership criteria before submitting your packet. New by-laws were adopted and may affect your decision to join. The criteria is listed in the packet and on the National Honor Society webpage on gorebs.org . Completed packets are due to Mrs. Lovelady by Friday, January 17th.

There will be a parent meeting at 5:00 pm on January 20th in the football Fieldhouse. Students must obtain a TIP from the DMV before the parent meeting.
