Good luck to the Lady Rebel Soccer team as they face off tonight at 5:30 against West Ouachita for "Senior Night." The senior girls will be recognized on the field at with their families before the game. The presentation will begin at 5:15, so please come out tonight to support the team and our 6 seniors!!

Seniors - Tonight's the night!  It's important for you to remember that your school counselors are not financial aid specialist.  This is why tonight is so important.  If you or your parents have questions about TOPS or FAFSA completion, you should attend this event.  From 5:30 - 6:00, a TOPS representative will talk about updates and all matters about the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students.  This portion of the evening will be in the auditorium.  If you are needing help with the FAFSA, you can come and go at leisure from 5:30 - 7:30 in the library.  This is the last event of this sort on campus, so if you don't attend, you will need to call FAFSA directly and the wait times can be quite long to get questions answered.

Sophomores and Juniors - If you love Science, Technology and Engineering, there is an awesome summer camp opportunity for you.  Freshmen, some of you may be eligible for this camp as well.  Check out our Facebook post or search the internet for SAME camps.  That's  S   A   M   E camps.  One will be held nearby in Vicksburg this summer.  This camp allows aspiring engineering students from across the country an opportunity for hands-on learning in collaboration with military engineers and SAME members.

Juniors - as we approach the spring season, it's important for you to remember that it is never too early to start visiting colleges and universities.  In fact, now is the time.   If there is an institution of higher of learning that you think you would like to attend, check their preview day schedule and start making visits now.  By the start of your senior year, you  need a pretty clear idea of where you hope to attend and what their application deadlines are.  It's important to know yourself as you start this process.  For some of you, a university will be the best fit, for others, a small college may be better.  You got this!  Go forth and conquer.

Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors - we will begin scheduling for the 2020-2021 school year before you know it.  If you want to begin a review of some of the courses that may be available, take a look at our course description guide from last year.  You can find it under the Parent and Student tab at gorebs.org. Just click on Guidance link and you will be able to see it on the drop down menu.  We know there will be some changes, but at least this gives you initial insight to potential course offerings.  If you are uncertain about which level of English, Math or History you should take, begin a dialogue now with your teachers.  If you want to know more about your science options, check out the course description guide and talk with your teachers as well.  Your future career choice may be able to help you determine the best science fit.

Go Rebs!
