This is my second year at WMHS, and I love it! The administration is encouraging, friendly, and helpful, and my Social Studies colleagues have welcomed me with open arms. I love being in the classroom and teaching American History to my students. It’s so important for the next generation to know that Americans have struggled with multiple issues but through compromise, courage, and commitment Americans have overcome many issues and achieved greatness in the world. I also think it’s important for students to know that many Americans of all races have achieved success through hardwork and commitment. My goal for my students is to prepare them for success whether they are going to college or taking certification tests for the skilled labor force.
